Announcement of the passing of former Chairman and President Hiromasa Yonekura

It is with great sadness that Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd. announce the passing of former Sumitomo Chemical Chairman and President Hiromasa Yonekura. Mr. Yonekura passed away peacefully on November 16, 2018, age 81.

A private funeral service has been held, hosted by Mr. Yonekura’s wife, Ms. Kazue Yonekura. A memorial gathering for Mr. Yonekura is scheduled to be held at a later date.
