Limber Fungicide for Rice Sheath Blight

We have developed granules, dustable powder, and hydrated powder formulations of the product to control sheath blight disease, one of the two major diseases that affect paddy rice. In particular, the granule formulation which requires less labor to apply treatment than other formulations, offers the maximum advantages, such as quick and long-lasting effect through enhanced fungicidal activity and efficient absorptive ability.

Resource Herbicide for Soybeans and Corn

Resource is a post-emergence herbicide for soybeans and corn crops developed by Sumitomo Chemical. It effectively controls a wide variety of broadleaf weeds including velvetleaf (Abutilon theophrasti), one of the most hard-to-control weeds in the U.S. Resource was registered in the U.S. in 1994 as the first "Reduced Risk Pesticide" for crop use due to its environmentally sound and low toxicological nature. It was first launched on the U.S. market in 1995 and is being marketed by Sumitomo's subsidiary, Valent U.S.A. Corporation. The product is also distributed in Latin America and China, where it is well accepted by farmers.

PRALLE is a 50% stock solution (manufacturing use product)
of imiprothrin, a technical grade of a new pyrethroid
insecticide boasting an extremely quick knockdown activity.
Aerosols contained in this product are far more effective
than conventional knockdown agents when sprayed directly
on cockroaches, knocking them down before ones eyes.

SUMISHORT functional fertilizer

SUMISHORT is a compound fertilizer for supplemental application at panicle formation stage. It contains uniconazole P, a plant growth regulator targeted exclusively to paddy rice. The fertilizer, which is used for high-quality rice, retards column elongation and lessens lodging, contributing to labor reduction in harvesting, improvement in taste, and increase in rice yield.
