The Agricultural Chemicals Research Laboratory conducts research & development to invent genuinely new chemistry in agricultural chemicals and new applications of existing chemicals and functional fertilizers in order to provide productive and environmentally friendly crop protection agents and labor-reducing farm technologies. In addition, research efforts are directed toward developing new household insecticides and improving their application methods for greater ease of use.
A synthesis chemist take on the challenge
of creating a new compound
Research & development
on crop protection agents, household and public hygiene
insecticides and functional fertilizers is carried out
by harnessing our knowledge and technological know-how
in various scientific fields, including chemistry, physics,
biology, and agronomy.
The Agricultural Chemicals Research Laboratory is broadly
involved in the discovery of new compounds, biological
evaluation, formulation and manufacturing process studies.
Strong efforts are being devoted to the development of
new products to improve not only their performance but
also the economics and safety of commercialized products.
Performance evaluation of chemicals
in overseas countries
It is of prime importance to bring new chemicals to the market as quickly as possible. For this purpose, we conduct efficient evaluations of chemicals under practical conditions at our experimental farm stations abroad.
Commercial development of highly
effective cockroach control agents
To maximize the efficacy of chemicals, we develop suitable formulations, devices and
application methods in pursuit of highly effective cockroach control products. Our guiding principle is to select products that promote consumer satisfaction as well as have a superior cost performance.
