FAQs

  • Q.What is the maximum length of gRNA that can be produced?
A.200 mer is the longest we have synthesized. From that data, we are confident of synthesizing longer oligonucleotides. If there is a requirement, please contact us.
  • Q.Can we verify the quality of your gRNA?
A.We can provide a small sample of a specific sequence for a fee. Please contact us for more information.
  • Q.How do you prove the high purity of your gRNA?
A.Please refer to the following document for information on our strong analytical methods. (Link to download the document)
  • Q.What capacity of gRNA production can you handle?
A.We can handle both large-scale GMP production and small-scale production. The quantity of the product depends on the sequence; however, for 100 mer gRNA, we have produced 15g at half scale and 30g at full scale. If you need a higher quantity, we can combine after the purification process. For small-scale production, we can share the optimal production schedule and cost, including leveraging our alliances. Please contact us.
  • Q.Do you perform sequence tests?
A.Sequence tests can also be conducted in-house. We would be happy to discuss this further with you.
  • Q.Where is the site for non-GMP and GMP manufacturing?
A.All manufacturing processes, both non-GMP and GMP, occur in Japan.
  • Q.Can you assist with customs clearance?
A.We have consistently encountered no issues with customs. Sumitomo Chemical will provide full support regarding all necessary documentation for customs.
  • Q.What is the FDA inspection history of Oita Works?
A.Although our gRNA facility is yet to be inspected by the FDA, the same GMP system as the small molecule facility at Oita Works is applied. Small molecule facility at Oita works has successfully passed numerous FDA inspections.
