Polyethersulfone (PES) that has been evaluated according to the ISO 10993 standards

We are developing liquid crystal polyester (LCP) and polyethersulfone (PES) grades that have undergone cytotoxicity tests, irritation tests, and acute systemic toxicity tests as biological safety evaluation items stipulated in ISO10993.

PES is transparent, heat resistant to temperatures of over 200°C, and resistant to hot water containing alcohol and chlorine.
It has excellent strength and rigidity even at room and high temperatures, and also has excellent dimensional stability with little dimensional change due to temperature, so it is expected to be used in medical engineering and other applications.

Furthermore, PES is being used in optical components and food containers, taking advantage of its transparency, and because it has low protein adsorption, it is being used in single-use applications such as filtration membranes, removal membranes, and concentration membranes in biopharmaceutical purification systems.

We manufacture our products at our domestic bases and hope to continue to provide our customers with a stable supply of high-quality, reliable products, as well as to continue to work hard to develop materials that will achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and be useful in various areas, including health, welfare, energy, food, and water.
