SUMIKAEXCEL 5900P

Grade Information

SUMIKAEXCEL 5900P is a powder grade of polyethersulfone (PESU) designed to be dissolved or dispersed in solution. The grade name is related to the molecular weight, with 5900P having the highest molecular weight. There is a correlation between molecular weight and solution viscosity.

SUMIKAEXCEL PES has excellent toughness, high heat resistance, high dimensional stability, hydrolysis resistance, and chemical resistance. It is also transparent, has long-term heat stability, excellent metal adhesion, moldability, and inherent flame retardancy.
