Sumitomo Chemical to Release New Graphic and Concept Video "Quiet Steps. Giant Leaps."

Sumitomo Chemical has created a new graphic and concept video themed around its commitment to sincerely addressing societal issues. Starting in February 2026, the Company will release this new advertisement on its corporate website and official YouTube channel, as well as display it the across various advertising media.

Research is the foundation of every solution. In the graphic design, multiple empty petri dishes are used as motifs to symbolize the history of the challenges taken on by our predecessors, as well as the possibilities and expansiveness of chemistry.

The concept video features footage of chemistry and daily life, with the visuals tied together through circular imagery reminiscent of a petri dish. This expresses both the broad range of fields in which the chemical industry is involved and Sumitomo Chemical’s sincere commitment to continuously addressing societal issues.
